PARADE

Paris Haute Couture

Jan 2026

Beneath the gilded dome of the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione, Stéphane Rolland unveiled "Parade," his Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture collection, on January 27, 2026—a dreamlike procession where fashion became ceremony, and memory waltzed with imagination. This was not merely a show but a meditation whispered in cloth and structure, where architecture dissolved into poetry and luxury found its most ethereal future. Drawing from the shadows of Pablo Picasso's circus reveries and the haunting legacy of the 1917 ballet "Parade," Rolland conjured wearable sculptures that breathed with Cubist geometry—asymmetrical gazar coats that defied gravity, capes that swept like architectural wings, and volumes that carved space itself into silhouette.

Through the precision of his needle, the designer distilled the essence of timeless circus archetypes—the commanding Ringmaster, the melancholic Pierrot, the exuberant Auguste—transforming theatrical personas into garments of disciplined beauty and architectural poetry. His palette began in the stark dialogue between black and white before surrendering to the warmth of deeper reveries: the smolder of burgundy and bronze, the bruised romance of plum, the golden whisper of honey, and the rich comfort of caramel. Each piece stood as both armor and art, where tailoring became philosophy and every seam told a story of transformation, discipline, and ceremonial grace.
